Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from May 4 to May 10, 2026. According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, this year’s theme is “Come Together: Canada – Stronger Connections, Better Mental Health.” Social connection plays a vital role in overall health and well-being, yet many individuals continue to experience loneliness. In Canada, approximately 17% of youth, 13% of adults, and 10% of seniors report feeling lonely often or always.
